Our Best Shot!

We have won a top 30 spot!
After entering the Best Shots Photographic competition & being shortlisted as one of the top 100 entrants out of over 8000 to win earlier this month, MC Photography are proud and excited to announce that we are one of the top 30 winners! Our photograph of The Bull Ring Arena, Birmingham proved a hit with the judging panel after apparently much deliberation they decided the entry was one of the best!
The chance photograph was taken by Mark Crapper of MC photography while on location, he said:
“I found the textures and lines of the architecture interesting and the sun was catching the silver tones of the building perfectly, this caught my eye instantly & I just had to get the shot”.
There will be a touring exhibition of all the shortlisted entrants work at The Station in Richmond, starting 14th July 2013 where votes can be made for the most popular photograph and photographer, this will be determined by public voting, the photographer will also win a further £1000 prize. The voting system will operate online as well as at each of the four exhibition venues. Prints will also be on sale here along with the opportunity to vote, all prints will be produced by local Sheffield sponsor & one of our suppliers, Peak Imaging.

The Top Draw Prize – A Week’s Stay in a Vivat Trust Holiday Property!
Participation in Best of the Best will give all ‘voters’ entry into a fabulous prize-draw that will be made at the end of 2013, when the exhibition tour finishes. A full list of all the draw prizes will be announced prior to the opening of the Best Shots Exhibition at The Station in July 2013.
The Vivat Trust, one of the foremost restoration charity’s in the UK, has kindly donated a week’s holiday in one of their portfolio of 29 properties. The choice of house and the dates are to be agreed between the winner and the Vivat Trust for a holiday to be taken in 2014.
So remember, please pledge a £1 vote for us & also donate to charity at the same time!
Voting commences from 14th July, online & in person at the touring exhibition.
The time frame is very short between completion and handover so flexibility and communication is key with all parties concerned and Formm have been able to facilitate easy access and help from Formm's clients.
Using a combination of lighting, complex retouching and "the golden hour" we have produced some work we are extremely proud of in the past few years. The technique we use to create these images transforms cold, dull shots, into warm, vibrant images that are worthy of the technical and hard work that goes into creating these amazing spaces.

From our Imacon to Hasselblad cameras, we can bring out laptop out, shoot direct to our 17 inch Macbook Pro so you can see exactly is what were shooting!
If you're product is needing a background we also have a large variety of backgrounds, varying in colour that we can also bring out to you.
We've had some extreme weather this year in the UK with the Beast from the East battering us early on in the year, but the summer we usually dont get in the UK has been very kind to us.
With the lovely warm weather it gives us a great chance to get out into the sun and shoot!
Quicktrack are a company that manufacture apparatus to wheel align anything from cars to large lorries, meaning a lot of their product is rather large.
