Hints & Tips
How to get the best results from your pr shoot
Have you prepared a shoot list? That is the question! When taking PR Photographs, we like to know who are the key people involved and also what are they promoting or why are they celebrating. As professional photographers, we always try and get a grasp on the back story to make sure the images to relate to your copy text.
To control the color or size of this text, please change the global colors or text size under the Design section from the left menu of the editor.
Allow creativity. Want to publish something a little different?…Unlike a lot of press style photographers’s we prefer not to rush your shoot nor do we like to drag the shoot on too long. If you require something a little more creative we can achieve this by bringing our lighting equiptment along or if you or your guests are in a hurry we can just take quick snaps. Either way we will talk through the brief beforehand to make sure we get it just right.

Logos & branding We always try and include company logos when taking photographs for Public Relations purposes, if there are no visible logos in the shoot location its always good to have a pop up banner or company brochures to hand.

Image format & purpose Where are the photo’s going? Always a good thing to know this so that we can shoot in the most suitable orientations, if your not sure don’t worry as we try to take photographs in a variety of formats throughout the job. This also comes in handy if the photo’s are going in multiple places.

Schedule After 22 years of practicing as professional photographers we have had lots of experience and know that its not always easy to co-ordinate many busy people but don’t worry we are here to fit in with you and your company and will aim to be as flexible as possible.

The time frame is very short between completion and handover so flexibility and communication is key with all parties concerned and Formm have been able to facilitate easy access and help from Formm's clients.

Using a combination of lighting, complex retouching and "the golden hour" we have produced some work we are extremely proud of in the past few years. The technique we use to create these images transforms cold, dull shots, into warm, vibrant images that are worthy of the technical and hard work that goes into creating these amazing spaces.
Take a look at some before and after shots!

From our Imacon to Hasselblad cameras, we can bring out laptop out, shoot direct to our 17 inch Macbook Pro so you can see exactly is what were shooting!
If you're product is needing a background we also have a large variety of backgrounds, varying in colour that we can also bring out to you.

Quicktrack are a company that manufacture apparatus to wheel align anything from cars to large lorries, meaning a lot of their product is rather large.
Below is a behind-the-scenes shot showing the capacity of our studio to get this large product on a background and lit!
